Wedding

Weddings are meant to be a special day for the man and woman who are getting together to spend the rest of their life together. The day is most special to the bride because it is her day to shine. The bride on that day is the one who needs to be happy otherwise nothing and no one will be having a good time. The day of a wedding is showing that two lovers are getting together and becoming one with having families come together, money, and other stuff in some cases. So I used my mother's cake topper that she still had from the wedding of when her and my dad got married. She still had it up in the attic along with other items from the wedding but I went with the cake topper. The reason is because it has two birds with a ring. A wedding has all to do with two people coming together with their families and lives and become connected with the ring that they both put on each others finger. When thinking of a wedding I think of two people or two of anything representing the two becoming as a whole. The cake topper helps show this because the two doves are the people getting together and are being brought together by the ring they each hold. I did the shoot indoors with a floor lamp that had the energy saving light bulbs which I think are the daylight ones. The lights are a pure white or blue color when on instead of shing that yellow color. The background is a white sheet that had light gray stripes on it and used an open aperture with an f-stop of 3.5 to 5.6. I had to set my camera on a tripod so the photo would be clear and not blurry because I had to use a low shutter speed. For the shoot I used my Olympus E-420 camera with the original lens that the camera came with.
